Your first session at North West Krav Maga is free. Experience something new; it’s on us. The instructor would meet you even before the lesson begins. We will have a quick introduction, and a quick briefing about safety, any injuries you have, any concerns, and your training goals. You can learn Krav Maga even if you have no previous experience in martial arts. After all, we need to start somewhere. North West Krav Maga classes are known for friendly atmosphere, positive training environment, and a sense of community. You will get along well, improve your fitness and have a lot of fun, while getting to learn some practical self defence skills.
That depends on the level of threat. A person of average build training two times a week can learn to effectively handle common situations in about 16 weeks

Anyone can learn Krav Maga. There are no limitations in terms of age or fitness. So long as you do not have any severe health conditions, you can very much learn Krav Maga whether you are in your forties or seventies. If you find the intensity too much to take, simply take a break for as long as you need, and slowly but surely, you will become fit.
No, you don’t have to be fit to be able to start Krav Maga. Krav Maga is a awesome way for everyone to stay fit. It is much more fun than any fitness class or gym, and the group spirit helps you stay motivated. You will realise a change within weeks, and in 16 weeks, you’d be wishing you began sooner.
At North West Krav Maga we do not bind you into 6 or 12 month contracts. We only expect you to commit to 16 weeks of training. If you are unable to commit to 16 weeks training, there’s not much you can learn. Don’t forget, your first Krav Maga session is free. This is a great way to try this combat system and get a first hand feel. So come along to our training centre for your first class before you make a decision.
At North West Krav Maga, safety is the top most priority. In fact, if you look up the statistics, Krav Maga is much safer than rugby, hockey or football. Although there are risks during training, the chances of serious injuries are pretty low.
