What is Krav Maga

It is a combat system, not a martial art. 

It was developed to help ordinary citizens and professionals in protecting themselves and their dear ones. 

Its core principle is to arm a layperson with a set of simple, effective movements that would work under highly stressful assault situations. 

Krav Maga is trusted by people from all walks of life – civilians, soldiers, law enforcement, security personnel, and close protection officers.

Why train

You do not have to be fit to begin your Krav journey. 

Your North West Krav Maga Instructor will make you physically fit and strong so you can implement the techniques with confidence and ease. 

Krav Maga will make a world of difference to your fitness level, and helps people in with their weight loss and fitness goals.

At North West Krav Maga, expect a friendly, fun and supportive atmosphere. You will work very hard, but you will also have a lot of fun during your class.

Who can learn Krav Maga


It is for everyone. 

There are no upper age limits, no fitness criteria. 

Most health issues won’t prevent you from learning so long as you discuss your condition with your instructor and follow his guidance. 

At North West Krav Maga, our students include men, women and people of all ages.
